These terms govern your use of LingoXP. By creating an account or booking a lesson, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.

2. Bookings and payments

Lessons are booked and paid for through the platform. Tutors set their own rates and availability. LingoXP retains a service fee from each booking, which is disclosed before checkout.

3. Cancellations and refunds

Cancellation and refund terms are described in our FAQ. LingoXP reserves the right to adjust these policies, with notice provided to users in advance.

4. Tutor relationship

Tutors on LingoXP are independent contractors, not employees of LingoXP. LingoXP does not guarantee the outcome, accuracy, or quality of any lesson delivered by a tutor.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use LingoXP for any unlawful purpose, to harass other users, or to circumvent the platform to transact with tutors or learners outside of LingoXP.

6. Limitation of liability

LingoXP is provided on an as-is basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, LingoXP is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of LingoXP after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
