This policy explains what information LingoXP collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using LingoXP you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information we collect

When you create an account we collect your name, email address, and the language you want to learn. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive basic profile details from those providers. Tutors additionally provide their teaching languages and hourly rate.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to match you with tutors, process bookings, send you lesson reminders, and improve the platform. We never sell your personal data to third parties.

3. Payments

Payments are handled by our payment processor. LingoXP does not store your full card details on its own servers.

4. Your rights

You can access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time from your account settings, or by contacting us at the address below.

5. CAPTCHA and bot protection

LingoXP uses Cloudflare Turnstile to protect our sign-up and login forms from automated abuse. Turnstile runs invisibly in the background and does not display a visual challenge to users. When you use our authentication forms, Cloudflare may collect certain technical information (such as browser characteristics and interaction patterns) to determine whether you are a human. This data is processed by Cloudflare in accordance with their privacy policy, which you can read at cloudflare.com/turnstile-privacy-policy.

6. Third-party services

LingoXP uses the following third-party services which may process your data under their own privacy policies: Supabase (database and authentication), Cloudflare (hosting, DNS, and security), Stripe (payment processing), and Google Analytics (usage analytics). We encourage you to review their respective privacy policies.
